LVMH Launches 22 Montaigne Entertainment, Explores Film, TV, and Audio

Luxury leader LVMH (Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy) made a bold move in February by launching 22 Montaigne Entertainment, signaling its foray into the world of film, TV, and audio for its brands. At the helm of this new venture is Anish Melwani, chairman and CEO for North America, who sees a strong connection between culture and entertainment, especially with the rise of streaming services.

Since taking on his role in 2016, Melwani has successfully integrated Tiffany & Co. into the company’s portfolio, driven sustainable efforts, and overseen various acquisitions and projects. His contributions will be recognized on May 11 at the Gold House Gala, where he will be honored as an A1 honoree in Fashion & Lifestyle.

When asked about the significance of the A1 honor by Gold House, Melwani expressed his hope that it would provide a platform for Asian Pacific leaders to showcase their work and inspire others in the community to seize opportunities.

As for the goals of 22 Montaigne Entertainment, Melwani emphasized the importance of storytelling and connecting with people. The initiative aims to enhance marketing activities and showcase the creativity, craftsmanship, and excellence of LVMH’s brands through entertainment projects that align with their unique portfolios and values.

Regarding LVMH’s sustainability efforts, Melwani highlighted the company’s commitment to protecting the environment and integrating sustainable development into its strategic business plans. The LIFE program, which focuses on biodiversity, climate change, and the circular economy, has set ambitious targets for 2023, 2026, and 2030.

Looking ahead, LVMH is excited about its partnership with the Paris 2024 Olympics and Paralympic Games, where several of its brands will collaborate to promote innovation and excellence. What sets LVMH apart, according to Melwani, is the strength of its brands, the balance of heritage and innovation, and the diverse portfolio across various segments and price ranges.

With 22 Montaigne Entertainment and its continued focus on sustainability and innovation, LVMH is poised to make a significant impact in the world of entertainment and beyond.
