First Trailer Released for Highly Anticipated Film Version of Wicked – Starring Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo

The highly anticipated trailer for the film adaptation of the hit musical Wicked was released on Wednesday, giving fans a glimpse into the world of Glinda and Elphaba. Starring Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo in the lead roles, the trailer showcases the enemies-to-friends storyline between the two characters, as well as snippets of the iconic songs “Popular” and “Defying Gravity.”

In addition to Grande and Erivo, the trailer also introduces the supporting cast, including Michelle Yeoh, Jeff Goldblum, Jonathan Bailey, and Bowen Yang. This is not the first look fans have had at the movie-musical, as a short trailer was previously released during the Super Bowl in February.
