Declyn Lauper Accused of Sexual Assault and Offensive Slurs: Lawsuit Filed in New York

The son of iconic singer Cyndi Lauper, Declyn Lauper, also known as Dex, is facing serious allegations of sexual assault in a recent lawsuit filed by an anonymous woman. The lawsuit claims that Declyn intentionally and recklessly sexually assaulted and abused the plaintiff, violating New York City’s Victims of Gender-Motivated Violence Protection Law.

The woman alleges that Declyn invited her to his apartment, confiscated her cell phone, held her down, and demanded a sexual act from her. After the incident, she claims he used offensive slurs towards her. The emotional and psychological damage from the assault has been described as profound and lasting by the plaintiff.

In addition to the sexual assault allegations, Declyn is also facing a separate lawsuit from his landlord for alleged behavioral breaches in his rent stabilized New York apartment. The landlord is seeking eviction and $7,210 in rent from Declyn.

The plaintiff’s attorney, Mark Shirian, stated that the lawsuit aims to hold Declyn accountable for the harm inflicted upon their client. Declyn has not yet responded to the allegations.
