Kim Kardashian surprised fans on Christmas Eve with a new look, ditching her blonde locks for a brunette hue. The SKIMS founder shared the transformation on Twitter and Instagram, standing next to hairstylist Chris Appleton in a silver dress that highlighted her latest hair color.

This isn’t the first time Kardashian has switched up her hair this month, as she previously debuted a honey blonde shade in early December. The new brown hair came just in time for the Kardashian-Jenner family’s annual Christmas Eve party, where Kim dazzled in a shiny dress and makeup by Rokael Lizama.

Kardashian first bleached her hair in May to match her Marilyn Monroe dress at the Met Gala, and hairstylist Chris Appleton confirmed that the blonde look would stick around. Despite the lengthy process of maintaining her roots, Kardashian expressed her commitment to staying blonde “for a minute.”

At the Christmas Eve bash, Kim shared TikToks with her daughter North West and sister Kylie Jenner, showcasing her voluminous brown hair. North even had a special moment singing with Sia, performing a medley of songs inside a life-sized gift box.
