Exclusive Surveillance Video Shows Sean “Diddy” Combs Assaulting Cassie Ventura: CNN Investigation

The recent release of a 2016 surveillance video obtained exclusively by CNN has shed light on a disturbing incident involving Sean “Diddy” Combs and his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura. The footage shows Combs grabbing, shoving, dragging, and kicking Ventura during an altercation at the now-closed InterContinental Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles.

The video, compiled from multiple camera angles dated March 5, 2016, captures the rapper’s aggressive behavior towards Ventura. In one instance, Combs is seen throwing Ventura to the floor, kicking her, and dragging her by her sweatshirt towards a room. Ventura is then shown slowly standing up and gathering her belongings as Combs continues to exhibit violent behavior.

Ventura, who reached an undisclosed settlement with Combs, declined to comment on the video. Her attorney, Douglas H. Wigdor, expressed shock at the footage, stating that it further confirms the disturbing behavior of Mr. Combs.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office issued a statement expressing concern over the video, describing the images as extremely disturbing and difficult to watch. However, due to the timeline of the incident, they are unable to press charges against Combs.

Since the incident, Combs has faced multiple civil lawsuits accusing him of sexual misconduct and other illegal activities. Authorities conducted searches at his homes in California and Florida as part of a federal investigation related to these allegations.

Combs has denied all allegations and maintains his innocence, with his attorney calling the searches a “gross overuse of military-level force.” The investigation is ongoing, and Combs continues to fight to clear his name.
